Restaurant Oud Zuid is a warm and cosy restaurant where quality and hospitality ae our most important values, next to a pleasant ambiance and atmosphere in the surrounding of the Vondelpark and Concert Building (6 minutes walk). The restaurant is located in a side street of the famous and luxurious shopping street Cornelis Schuyt, at the corner of the Johannes Verhulst- and Banstreet. During summertimes Oud Zuid is known for their large terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine after a day work or after a concert visit.
Inside the restaurant has red leather couches and due to this and the famous wallpaper with slap roses the restaurant has a French Brasserie style. This French style is also implemented in the kitchen by Chef Sjoerd de Rooij, who is already swinging the scepter for more than 5 years. Together with his kitchen team he prepares dishes of biological products. Next to the A La Carte Menu there is a daily changing 3 course menu.There is a large winelist and we offer a lot of wines per glass as well.We are opened 7 days a week (only closed for lunch on Saturday).
